A spatial composition surface where each touch is a vote on where to place sound. Marks accumulate where people agree; raise the water to filter out the weakly-supported regions.
How to play
- Tap or drag on the canvas to vote. Each touch adds intensity at that location.
- Multiple votes in the same region grow into a darker, larger blob.
- Drag the WATER fader (on the SCOPE module) up to filter out everything below a threshold of agreement; the canvas and terrain update together.
- Press PLAY to play the surviving marks as a left-to-right musical score.
Controls
VoiceSine, bell, or strings: the timbre used when the score plays.
WaterA vote-intensity threshold. At zero, every faint trace counts; at full, only the strongest collective gestures survive.
What this demonstrates
A nod to Joan Miró's Bleu II: black blobs on cerulean. Each canvas position is a vote; intensity is agreement. Water is a quorum threshold: when only the strongest peaks survive, the resulting score is unambiguously what the collective chose. The 3D scope shows the same data as a vote-density terrain: the same composition you see from above on the canvas, viewed as a landscape with peaks.
